A Nathadwara pichvai depicting the autumn full moon (sharat purnama) with Shri Nathji standing at the centre in front of a white curtain, to each side gopis acclaiming him with raised arms, in the background the forest of Brindaban and above the moon-lit sky and celestial chariots with deities, below Mount Govardhan with various narratives and at the bottom a row of cattle. Around the central scene small panels with illustrations of the twenty-five seasonal festivals. The outer flower border with restorations. Colours on cotton. Late 19th century.
