A large bronze vase by Hannya Kankei (born 1933), of ovoid shape with a chestnut-coloured patina and reddish streaks. Cast mark to the base Kankei. Late 20th centuy. Tomobako, inscribed to the lid shudô kabin (cast bronze flower vase) and signed and sealed Kankei to the reverse of the lid.
