A large Utrecht silver gilt monstrance

Foot of hexagonal section with inswept sides. The node engraved "IHESUS" within roundels. The cylindrical expositorium set in a gothic architectural frame with engraved brickwork, finials, gargoyles and figures of saints. Crowned by a figure of the good s H 61 cm, weight 2,515 g.
Marks of Johannes Henricus Brom, 1901 - 15.

An almost identical monstrance by this master dated 1913 is kept in St. Josefs church in Zeist.
