A silver-mounted ivory tankard with a faun and a nymph

The foot and lid with embossed floral decor, the cylindrical ivory corpus carved with a continuous scene of a faun and a nymph. The ivory handles and finial carved as the young Bacchus. H 29.5 cm.
Unidentified maker's mark "GG", presumably German, late 19th century.
