An ivory figure of Neptune

On a solid walnut base. Depicted as lord of the oceans holding a dolphin by its tail and stabbing it with his trident. On a round walnut base inlaid with shells and seaweed. Engraved to the back of the base "A.Gieß". The trident handle lost. H 37.8 cm, with base H 43.5 cm.
