A small tiered maki-e lidded box. 19th century

Decorated in maki-e and aogai inlays on nashiji with a mallow and a flying bird on the lid, and with clematis and hydrangeas on the sides. Black lacquer with gold flecks to the inside and the bottom.
Height 6.3 cm; width 9.8 cm; depth 7.5 cm
