Two wooden kiseruzutsu with pipes a tonkotsu and a lidded box. Second half 19th century

Both kliseruzutsu of senryû-zutsu type. a) In shape of a snake coiling its tail around a frog, the pipe of bamboo, the head and mouth piece of silver with an engraved asa-no-ha pattern, b) in shape of a yawning and stretching ashinaga, wearing a short jacket, the pipe of bamboo with silvered and gilt head and mouth piece with a tiger underneath bamboo, signed Kazuaki (Ichimyô), c) a wood tonkotsu carved with a Buddha in meditation, on the reverse a lid in shape of a sign post with the characters Daibutsu, damaged, and d) a small woven bamboo and rattan lidded box with two metal handles. (4)
Length of the kiseruzutsu: a) 20.7 cm; b) 19.4 cm
