A very large embroidered panel. Late 19th century

Consisting of four lengths of firm beige-coloured fabric sewn together, the outer ones with an integral border pattern, to the narrow sides of the panel the borders and corners are sewed on, the panel itself displayingflowering and fruit-bearing branches, at the center a roundel with peony branches and a budding branch, the borders with stylised flowers and scrolls. At the edges all around nail holes.
