A wakizashi

Length of the blade 44.2 cm, shinogi zukuri, probably suguha hamon, rubbed and traces of rust. Nakago: ubu, one mekugi-ana, hardly legible Naoyuki(?). 19th century. Two-part copper habaki. Koshirae: shakudô tsuba of round flat shape, iron kashira and shakudô fuchi. Black binding over same, tsuka with leather cover. Saya with leather cover lacquered black and with red stripes. 19th century.
