A blue and white ‘fruit and flower’ bowl. Kangxi period (1662-1722)

Of conical form, the flaring sides rising to a six-lobed rim, the interior decorated with a medallion containing a flowering and fruiting peach branch, surrounded by three sprigs of lotus flowers alternating with sprays of tree peony, chrysanthemum, and lotus, the exterior painted with six fruit sprays. Apocryphal Chengua six-character mark. Part of footring damaged/broken off.
