Head slightly raised as her young tries to climb over her back. Ivory, very finely carved with finely engraved and partly darkly accentuated fur with subtle markings. The eyes inlaid with dark horn. The Kyoto carver, known for his finely detailed animals or groups of animals portrayed in typical movement, has also given this group with subtly dyed hair work a compelling charm.
