A four-case inrô in the manner of red lacquer. 19th century

Carved with a Chinese scholar playing the qin in front of a screen and a young servant boy with scrolls in his arms, to the other side two scholars playing weiqi and an old man looking on, all sides carved with swirling clouds. Black lacquer to the inside. Carnelian(?) ojime.
Height 7.8 cm; width 6.2 cm
