Kiseruzutsu. Around 1900 - early 20th century

Type muso-zutsu, the body like woven from very fine, thin wickerwork, completely covered with a matt shining, dark grey lacquer, the edge in roiro. Two thin stripes of red-brown and dark golden-yellow bamboo on each of the broad sides, as well as on the inside. Very finely woven eyelet lined with silver on the inside. Excellent work in the best 'shibui' style.
