A large Belle Epoque diamond and natural pearl brooch

Silver and 18k red gold brooch designed as a pierced scroll motif with seven droplets, set with circa 150 cushion shaped old-cut diamonds and a central trapeze-cut diamond (ca. 7.19 x 6.68 x 1.48 mm, diamonds in total ca. 8 ct, I-K, vs-si). Symmetrically set with 16 oval and slightly Baroque pearls (presumably natural, not tested, diameter ca. 3.5 - ca. 7.5 x 8.0 x 9.0 mm). Can also be worn as a pendant via a hook on the reverse. With replaced yellow gold brooch mountings, minor tin soldered repairs. 8.5 x 5.3 cm. Weight 32.08 g.
