A Tyrolese mortar with a coat-of-arms

Honey coloured bronze with natural patina. Cylindrical form with pronounced lower section and base. The rim flared and moulded. Cast with family coats-of-arms to both sides. H 25.3, D 20.5 cm. Weight 11.9 kg. With a corresponding pestle.
Innsbruck, attributed to the Löffler foundry, first half 16th C.
