A pair of jumu chairs of the type sichutou guanmaoyi. 18th/19th century

On four round legs connected with stretchers and with an inner frame, the backrest with a curved top rail and a back splat with a ruyi ornament in openwork and a lobed opening at the base, the armrests supported by curved side posts. On the underside of the seat an inscription with the date Daoguang 16 (1836). (2)
