With short neck and wide mouth. Chestnut-coloured patina with dark brown streaks. Tomobako, the reverse of the lid with a long inscription reading Tsûsan daijin shitei dentôteki kogei hin / kokushitei dentô shijutsu hojisha and signed for the shape seisaku Yoshino Takeji and for the colour shakushoku Tachikawa Zentarô. Sealed Dentô kogei ... and Tachikawa.
