A North Italian silver figure of Christ risen, second half 16th century

Cast in two parts (body and robe), chased and partially gilt. A figure of the resurrected Christ on a shallow plinth standing in contrapposto with His hands upraised in blessing and holding a flag in the crook of His arm. Christ's anatomy is finely rendered, He is shown with the wound in His side and dressed in a perizonium and cloak which falls to the ground behind Him.
Slight wear to the gilding. Mounted on a wooden plinth. Height 10 cm (with flag).
