Limoges mid-16th century

A mid-16th century Limoges enamel plaque with Saint John the Baptist

In a gilt bronze frame. Depicting the saint kneeling in a wooded landscape in a hair shirt pointing towards the lamb of God with his right hand and holing a cross with a flag in his left. Pendant piece to the previous lot in frame and composition.
In good condition. Minor wear to the frame. 10 x 7.3 cm (with frame).
