A Tibeto-Chinese gilt bronze figure of Vajrapani. 18th century

The protector deity striding in alidhasana on a lotus base, the hands forming the karanamudra, wearing a tiger skin, a billowing sash and adorned with the dharmapala-jewels. The hair painted with red pigments. The sealed base incised with a double-vajra.
