A silver travel clock formed as a book

Silver clock with remnants of gilding designed as a book with silver clasps. The cover decorated with engraved depictions of Sol and Luna, beneath the cover engraved tendrils and the figure of Chronos alongside the applied clock face with Roman and Arabic numerals. Containing an unsigned movement from a French pocket watch from around 1820. H 11; W 9; D 3 cm.
With pseudo marks in the manner of Augsburg, German, second half 19th C.
