Round base supporting a twisted baluster shaft with red cane inclusions and a faceted cup decorated with a crowned medallion bearing a portrait of the king facing right. Numerous trophies to the cup, the base with two crossed standards. The reverse inscribed "vivat unsere allirtten" amidst palm fronds. The lid presumably original with corresponding decor and red and gold cane inclusions. H 27.7 cm.
Attributed to Schreiberhau/Szklarska Poreba, 1st quarter 18th C.

The inscription may refer to the Great Northern War in which August the Strong was involved and which he could finish successfully together with his allies in 1720.
