An early Nuremberg silver tureen and cover

Round vessel with scroll handles on three spherical feet. Decorated with finely chased acanthus and architectural ruins in two oval reserves. The slightly domed lid with three spherical feet can be used as a stand. H 15.5; W 29.5; D 21 cm, weight 982 g.
Marks of Hans Nicolaus Müllner, 1681 - 85.
