A Tibetan or Nepalese gilt bronze figure of Vajrapani. 17th/18th century

The fierce holder of the thunderbolt striding in alidhasana on a lotus base in front of a flaming aureole, holding his eponymous vajra aloft in his right hand and a snake in his left, wearing a tiger skin, a billowing sash and adorned with the dharmapala jewels. Base sealed.
