A walrus-tusk kiseruzutsu. 19th century

Of otoshizutsu type, carved in openwork with a magnolia tree behind a bamboo fence. The long petals contrasting nicely with the almost geometrical bamboo fence. The pipe of bamboo with fittings of white metal and cloisonné enamel.
