A further extensive generals' service left the manufactory on 1st August 1821. The service was presented as a gift to Prince Ludwig Wilhelm Landgrave of Hessen-Homburg (1770 – 1839) in recognition of his and his Hessen-Homburg brigade's services during the German campaign. Like the previous services for the generals Tauentzien, Kleist, and York, the dinner plates were here also decorated with the coat of arms of the recipient. The originally red and black ribbons entwining the oak and laurel wreath turned black during the firing process.
