Cast bronze with silver shimmering patina. Decorated with angular mouldings, two angel's heads in relief and an acanthus scroll around the rim. H 12, 14.5 cm, weight c. 2.8 kg. Pestle L 20 cm.
Traditionally attributed to the Alberghetti workshop in Venice, 16th C., possibly French, 1st quarter 19th C.
