A faience tureen with Bontemps motifs

A so-called “wursthafen” dish of oval section with a tiered lid and spherical finial between two scrolls. Decorated with garland motifs, ribbons and dishes of fruit. Illegible blue mark (B?). With some minor chips and two hairline cracks to the inside of the tureen. H with lid 15, W 24 cm.
Attributed to Bayreuth, the décor inscribed in the manner of Johann Valentin Bontemps, 1730s.
