A gilt-bronze figure of Buddha Shakyamuni. 17th/18th century

Seated in meditation, both hands held forward in mudra, the right hand resting on the knee, lotus roundels to the palms, wearing robes with wide borders with blossoms and scrolls in relief on an irregularily punched ground, the hair locks with remains of pigments. Velvet-covered wooden stand.
