A large Canton famille rose vase. 19th century

Of slender baluster-shape with a trumpet neck and everted foliate rim and collar, applied with four writhing gilt chilongs to the shoulder and two handles in the form of cranes. Decorated with palace scenes in river landscape scenes in large panels, surrounded by butterflies, symbols, flowers and fruits.
