A very large bowl. Kyûshû, Saga prefecture. Second half 20th century

Of conical shape with underglaze-blue leaves to the inside and outside reserved from a finely textured ground underneath the transparent glaze. Signed Katsumi in iron-black. Tomobako, with inscription on the reverse of the lid signed Katsumi and sealed Katsumi in (=Eguchi Kasumi, born 1936).
