Blade length: 42.8 cm, shinogi zukuri, iori mune, suguha hamon in nie-deki with nie-sake and hotsure, jihada unrecognisable, chu-kissaki, nakago: suriage, mumei, two mekugi-ana.

Koshirae: 19th century, shakudo handachi mounting engraved with vines, kozuka, iron tsuba decorated with applied gilt bronze lion, menuki in the shape of rats on a flywhisk. Black binding over same. Saya: black lacquer with thick aogai chips.
