A four-case carved-lacquer inro. 19th century

Displaying a Chinese scholar at a table and a boy servant on one side, and three scholars with a horizontal scroll on the other side, on a shippo-tsunagi ground filled with asa-no-ha. Small logo-type seal. Nashiji and fundame to the inside. Silver ojime in shape of a pegtop and a carved lacquer manju in shape of a stand with a dragon on top.
