A Japonisme style gold and gun metal cigarette case

Steel and gold. Rounded rectangular design with a hinge on the long side and an integrated match compartment on the narrow side. Made from blackened steel with rough samorodok style bi-colour gold applique. The display assymetrically encrusted with a small sapphire, an emerald, a ruby and an old-cut diamant (ca. 0.10 ct, L/M, si). Applied with diamond set initials "GF". The push button with a sapphire cabochon in a gold setting. Hallmarks: "Deposé", "13". The push button of the match compartment and the cord missing. The striking surface with minor corrosion. 10 x 7 x 1.5 cm. Weight 149.55 g.
