A Belle Epoque platinum brooch with a gouache on ivory miniature

Oval brooch with finely pierced trelliswork decor set with rose-cut diamonds. The central portrait minitaure depicting a lady with a basket of flowers in blue camaieu. The border decorated with tiny wire strung Oriental pearls. Hallmarks: Indistinct French marks, numbered 59412. The miniature with a water damaged spot. 3.9 x 2.5 cm. Weight 8.38 g.
France, around 1890.
