A small Nuremberg silver gilt tankard

Slightly tapering vessel with a herm handle. Engraved with garlands of fruit and acanthus surrounding two rows of raised lobes, the domed lid with corresponding decor and a large spherical finial. H 14.5 cm, weight 374 g.
