A Chinese porcelain carp vase

Designed as a leaping carp mounted to a rocky gilt bronze base encrusted with foliage, shells and branches, with an additional bronze branch applied with porcelain flowers stabilising the unglazed belly. The open mouth with a floral lid. The fins restored. H 31 cm.
China, attributed to Jingdezhen, 18th C., the bronze mountings and porcelain flowers French.
