A round carved red lacquer box. 19th century

The domed lid carved with four immortals and a basket with peaches in a landscape, the background filled with wave and flower patterns, the sides with a slender scroll and flowers, the bottom with a blossom, all on a ground of concentric squares. Black lacquer to the inside. A few chips to the edges.
Height 9 cm; diameter 14.6 cm
