A yellow-ground famille rose tea and coffee birthday service. 20th century

Comprising 21 pieces: a tea- and a coffee-pot, one milk-jug, five larger and five smaller dishes, five saucer dishes, and three cups. Decorated and gilt around a central stylized shou longevity symbol and crashing waves with four roundels inscribed wan shou wu jiang (long life without ending), the cups decorated with five iron-red bats (wufu), all reserved on a yellow ground with flower scrolls.
