A silver tobacco box and cover. Dateable to 1928

In the shape of a karabitsu on four legs, on the lid a gold-plated kiku-mon, to the sides medaillons with stylised phoenixes in engraving. Stamped: jungin Mitsukoshi. Weight 449 g. Wooden box, the inscription on the lid reading: Showa sannen rokugatsu) / Hisanomiya sama okoto tsuke / gomontsuke gin robako ikko (June 1928 / presented to Hisanomiya / a silver tobacco box with imperial mon, one piece).
