A pair of tall and slender Koransha vases. Arita. Late 19th century (after 1879)

The shoulder set off from the neck by a thin ridge, the body painted in underglaze-blue, gold and a little iron red with clusters of bamboo, the neck painted with phoenix medallions, kiri and scroll work. One vase with two short cracks to the body. (2)
