Blade length: 66.8 cm, shinogi zukuri, iori mune, itame hada, futa-bi, suguha hamon, further details unrecognisable. Nakago: ubu with one mekugi-ana ending in ha agari kurijiri, inscribed: Bi…(no) Kuni ju Sanjo Masahiro saku and dated (exact date illegible).

Koshirae: 19th century. Handachi-koshirae, brown lacquered saya with a touch of nashiji and five mitsuba aoi (triple hollyhock) kamon of the Tokugawa family in gold lacquer. Mokkogata tsuba and black binding over same.
