A small ivory okimono of Yorimasa and the nue. Second half 19th century

Yorimasa with sword and bow stands beside I no Hayata who stabs the nue lying on its back. The tail of the nue has the shape of a snake that coils itself around Hayata's sword and bites into his eboshi. The eye pupils of the snake of black horn. Signed Tomochika in an irregular reserve.
