The street performer, here probably a puppeteer (kairaishi), stands wearing a kataginu jacket. Out of the box in from of his belly jumps a weasel.
Height 5.8 cm

At a certain point of the musical accompaniment of the presentation the itinerat entertainer lets a weasel jump into the audience, as a climax of the performance and for the enjoyment of the audience, which usually consisted of children.
