Rectangular cigarette case with a spring closure. Decorated throughout with historicist scroll engravings. The push-button set with an onyx cabochon. Engraved with a family coat-of-arms and the device "Treue Recht" on the interior. Hallmarks: Fineness 585, four-leaf clover maker's mark, numbered 3262. 0.80 x 8.5 x 5.0 cm. Weight 76.62 g.
First third 20th century.

The goldsmith could be the Berlin-based Johann Dirks, who used a mark with a four-leaf clover and was active since the late 19th century.
