Faceted vessel and smooth lid fashioned from dark green serpentine fitted with a vermeil baluster-form finial, hinged mountings and pronged basal ring. The cover with a restored crack. The vermeil mountings unmarked. H 20 cm.
Presumably Saxony, second half 17th C.
