An Augsburg silver beaker

Tapering parcel gilt beaker with a moulded rim on three spherical supports, decorated with repoussé acanthus foliage. The slightly domed lid with corresponding decor and a large spherical finial. H 15 cm, weight 258 g.
Marks of Adolf Gaap, 1681 - 1685.

Seling mentions a beaker by Gaap with portraits in the Jewish Museum in Prague.
