A Dutch grandfather clock

Walnut and burr walnut veneer on oak corpus, glass, giltwood, older textile, palisander, brass dial with pierced blued steel hands. Week-running movement with moon phase aperture, date and subsidiary second below 12 o'clock, month aperture with engraved figures and zodiac above 6 o'clock. Repetition for striking on a large bell. Engraved on the dial "Jan Jakobus Goeroye". With older damage to the veneer, shrinkage cracks, minor losses. H 270, W 72, D 36.5 cm.
