A wucai-dragon censer. Kangxi period (1662–1722), 17th century

The deep rounded sides rising to a wide flared rim, decorated to the exterior with two confronting elongated dragons chasing a pearl of flame between flaming clouds and above foaming waves with spray crests crashing against rockwork. Firing crack retouched.
