A bowl for sweet meats. 18th/19th century

With a thin body swinging outward covered by a beige-coloured crackled glaze, the inside decorated with a phoenix on the rim and stylised kiku and kiri in brown and a few enamels. Shifuku, damaged. Wooden box with inscribed paper labels reading Kashiki ga go Kyoto Ninsei zô kiku kiri ni hôô samzama kashidonburi.
Height 6 cm; diameter 15.9 cm

The content of the inscription states that the bowl for sweets was made by Ninsei of Kyoto and describes the decoration.
